In fact, studies have shown that young lesbian cisgender women are two to ten times more likely to become pregnant than young heterosexual cisgender women. One study shows that up to 30% of transgender men have experienced an unintended pregnancy. There is a dearth of reliable statistics for LGBTQ+ people, especially transgender people who can become pregnant, and we know these statistics are likely under representative of actual challenge and need.
